We use local anaesthetics to numb the tooth or teeth that we are extracting and once you are numb you should not feel any discomfort. The tooth is then removed from the socket and the area is packed to ensure that there is no bleeding once you have left the practice.
Missing teeth can often cause cosmetic and functional issues. Unfortunately if you have lost a single tooth the prospect of wearing a removable denture is not very pleasant. Even dental bridges that are fixed in place are not ideal as you will need to rely on another tooth in the mouth to hold the false tooth in place. This can often lead to destruction of the anchor tooth as well.
Dental Implants are the gold standard in replacing missing teeth. They are a completely fixed solution and will restore your bite and smile.
If you have several missing teeth a dental implant bridge is a perfect way to replace multiple missing teeth to provide you a fixed, permanent solution. Dental Implant bridges can be used to replace only a few missing teeth or even a full mouth of missing teeth. You will get a great cosmetic result and also improved function overall restoring your confidence.
Implants Retained Dentures
If you have been suffering from loose, unstable dentures then dental implants could be the solution for you. The main problem with dentures is that they rely on a few of your remaining teeth or just the gums alone to hold them in place. Implant dentures can be secured by using as little as two implants in the lower jaw and four implants in the upper jaw. Often your current denture can be adapted and can give you the confidence to bite back into your favourite foods and smile with pride.
Same Day Teeth
This advanced treatment will completely rehabilitate your oral health, whether you have already lost all of your teeth or even if you still have your own teeth in place. By having our state of the art, onsite dental laboratory we can provide your new fixed teeth on the same day that you have your dental implants placed.
Many of our patients have who want dental implants still have some of their own teeth in place. If they are failing and cannot be saved we may be able to extract the teeth and place the implants at the same time to reduce the amount of surgery you require.
Our in-house technicians can then start work on making a new set of teeth which could be attached in just a few hours later. We make it our priority to ensure that you are comfortable and relaxed throughout the day. Remember there are usually various treatment options for most patients so it is important to have a full assessment with one of our dentists.
