Preventive dentistry is all about maintaining your oral health to a standard that reduces the need for intervention treatments such as restorations and replacement. Of course, our team are highly skilled in offering such intervention treatments, but we firmly believe that the highest level of dental care always aims to maintain and protect the natural teeth wherever possible.

What preventive dentistry measures do you offer?

Our preventive dentistry measures start with our regular dental examinations and dental hygiene visits. We recommend that patients visit us here at least yearly for their dental health check-ups, and a hygiene appointment. During these visits we’ll be able to keep an eye on your overall oral health and offer any advice necessary to help maintain your oral health. Should action need to be taken, then we’ll also be able to talk you through the next steps to get you back on the road to a healthy smile. Our Practice Plans can help spread the cost of regular dental maintenance and will keep your teeth looking healthy and happy.

What happens during a dental examination?

During a routine check-up at Diamond Dental Care, a member of the team will perform a full and thorough examination of the mouth, carrying out an oral health screen as well as a mouth cancer screening. We’ll check for any signs of tooth decay and gum disease and may well perform an X-ray to better aid us in diagnosing any issues. Thanks to our state-of-the-art X-ray machines, this will be a completely comfortable experience.

We’ll be sure to talk through everything with you at the time, and if there are any action steps that need to be taken, we’ll develop a unique treatment plan with you, ensuring your patient journey with us is a smooth and comfortable one. We may also offer diet and lifestyle changes that could help with maintaining your overall oral health. This could be cutting down on certain drinks/sugar, or recommending a particular toothbrush.

Always very pleasant and helpful reception staff. And the premises are spotless but also comfortable tooMahbub is meticulous in his hygienist processes and always tells me what he finds as he works and how I should best improve my oral health.He is very careful too to make sure I am comfortable during all the processes especially where some of my teeth and gums are a little sensitive.

Absolutely love this practice with dip and colgate his dental nurse. Feel so relaxed and at ease not like being at the dentist. Have had dental implants and with the advice from dip I'm over the moon with the results and aftercare.

I contacted Diamond Dental because I was in a lot of pain with a tooth that needed extraction. I had spoken to my dentist of 35 years and they offered me an appointment in 3 weeks. The only reason I still had the troublesome tooth was because they had cancelled an emergency appointment a while back. The whole team at DD were professional and helpful from the first phone call. I was seen the same day and the dentist, Yanisha, was a true professional and also had a lovely friendly manner explaining everything and putting me at ease. Excellent service and a good price too. I strongly recommend !

I received a very professional service from start to finish at this clinic. I was seen by Neel Sethi who did a thorough check and explained the filling treatment that I needed. He was very gentle and I did not feel any discomfort or pain during the whole process. He even showed me before and after photos, which I had not experienced at any other clinic. I felt totally at ease and will go back to Neel for any future checks and treatments.

Amazing service. The staff I have met are all super friendly.I could not have asked for a better experience. Tayla at the desk was really welcoming, and during the actual appointment Andrea and Corinne gave me the best treatment. I don’t usually write reviews but Neel at Diamond Dental Group was amazing throughout my treatment.
