Dental Payments
We ask that patients pay for all treatment in advance. You will receive a written estimate of all costs for treatment and the reception team will ask you to settle your next appointment costs at the time of booking the appointment. If you wish to book a block of appointments, we would ask for the deposit fees of all appointments to be paid, but please speak to the reception team who would be happy to help with any queries.
Cancellation Policy
We have a very strict cancellation policy.
Please call and inform us of your cancellation and we ask that 72 hours’ notice is given. All missed Private appointments or those cancelled without 72 hours’ notice will therefore forfeit the deposit paid.
This may range in value from £20-£150 for dental treatment, depending on the length of appointment, and is the full value of hygiene appointments which are taken at time of booking.
From April 2016 missed NHS payments will not be subject to a cancellation fee; however, patients who persistently miss or cancel NHS appointments will NOT be seen on the NHS list.
Completion of treatment
Courses of treatment that have not been completed after two months i.e. those courses of treatment where a patient has had a check-up and has had treatment identified but does not book an appointment to have this work completed will be terminated after three months. At this point a new course of treatment will be opened which will mean a new check-up charge. This does not apply to patients who have an appointment booked but the wait for such appointment was over two months.
We do hope you understand the reasons behind this policy and hope you will be happy to work together with us so that we may provide you with the highest quality of treatment.
